StressCheck Tutorial: 3D Modeling of a Skin-Stiffener-Fasteners Assembly (Partial Contact)

Abstract: Modeling of a 3D integrated skin/fasteners (i.e. “plugs”) and stiffener assembly for a partial multi-body contact analysis in which only the stiffener stresses are of interest. In-plane axial loads only, in which the stiffener/skin load ratio is 0.55. Defining parts for each subassembly for easier creation and assignment of contact zones. Model pre-processing only.
