Abstract: Embedding an elliptical part thru crack in an offset hole edge, then transitioning the parametric crack from a part thru to a thru thickness configuration. Crack automeshing strategies, including recommendations for increasing the boundary layer Ratio value once the crack has transitioned to a thru thickness configuration.
