StressCheck Tutorial: Stepped Ply Bonded Lap Joint (Extruded)
Abstract: Parametric geometry creation for a stepped ply bonded lap joint configuration. Generation of a quad-mesh (automesh of quadrilateral elements), definition and assignment of laminate orthotropic and adhesive (bond) material properties, and then the conversion of the quad-mesh to 3D hexahedra by selecting the Extrude reference.
