With the release of StressCheck v11 in December 2020, ESRD unveiled a significantly improved user interface experience, a voluminous online documentation portal, and a re-written Getting Started Guide with a companion video tutorial. In addition, we’ve revamped our Getting Started page, with helpful links for member registration, licensing & installation, the basics of StressCheck usage, and other key links & resources. In short, it’s never been easier to learn StressCheck!
This past week at ASIP 2019, ESRD provided a training course titled “Automated 3D Crack Beta Curve Development via Smart Sim Apps”, chatted with ASIP attendees, provided a StressCheck Clinic, and exhibited at our booth.

ESRD is pleased to announce our first webinar of 2020, scheduled for February 12 @ 1:00 pm EST.
This 2-hour, user-oriented webinar “Mastering StressCheck: Practical Training Approaches & Online Resources for A&D Engineers” will detail training approaches focused on applications to make numerical simulation via finite element analysis S.A.F.E.R. – Simple, Accurate, Fast, Efficient, and Reliable.
In this 45-minute webinar, hosted by the Altair Partner Alliance (APA), we will discuss how ESRD’s CAE Handbook modernizes and streamlines the implementation of digital engineering handbooks for the standardization of corporate process workflows.
WEBINAR HIGHLIGHTS
The CAE Handbook framework allows for the corporate standardization of many engineering computational simulations. This is done by allowing companies to build an electronic or digital handbook models that captures corporate intellectual property. This enables non-FEA experts to solve many basic simulations that historically have been simplified in the form of Microsoft Excel engineering computation spreadsheets, and internally developed engineering programs that are only fully understood by the engineers who develop them. CAE Handbook guarantees consistent results and provides an objective measure of the quality of the solution.
Strategies for mastering StressCheck Professional for a variety of Aerospace & Defense engineering applications, and a review of the available training options and online resources, will be explored.
Whereas most FEA is built on the technology of the 1950's and 1960's, StressCheck is built on active technology and proven to get the right answer faster.
WEBINAR SUMMARY
In this 2 hour webinar we will review training approaches focused on applications to make numerical simulation via finite element analysis S.A.F.E.R. - Simple, Accurate, Fast, Efficient, and Reliable.
We will have a walk through our rapidly growing and extensive Resource Library, with tips on finding the most applicable tutorial video, best practice, FAQ topic or online resource to support your simulation needs.
Case studies of the engineering applications targeted during an Introduction to StressCheck training course, such as multi-body contact, global-local analysis, and proper application of boundary conditions, will be presented.
Strategies for modeling, solving & post-processing 3D multi-body contact applications in StressCheck Professional, along with implementation details & troubleshooting recommendations, will be explored.
In this pre-recorded 2 hour webinar we will review the scope, typical applications, model setup, best practices, quality assurance checks, troubleshooting recommendations, and algorithmic details for StressCheck's multi-body contact implementation.
Strategies for the automation of durability and damage tolerance (DaDT) solutions, driven by Sim Apps designed for the computation of FEA-based total beta factors, will be explored.
In this pre-recorded 2 hour webinar we will discuss the creation of Sim Apps for the automatic generation of complex, solution-verified 2D and 3D beta factors via the integration of StressCheck's parametric FEA engine, the Windows Component Object Model (COM) and Microsoft Excel VBA.
